Heres another question that has me stumped about this whole thing. The witnesses upon committing to the the WTBTS...are cautioned to steer clear of challengers..rather to confront them one on one in privite at their homes. Seems to me..if they actually possessed the great wisdom they claim..they would enjoy challengers,,and enjoy putting them in their place in front of everyone for a witness to all..and to prove their authority and domenince over all other guesses.
But by door to door, in privite...a loss is not seen and easy to cover and forget.
Not at all a very confident stance is this. Tells me they are weak and know they are weak..and trying to protect their weak followers from stronger more powerful wisdom then theirs...by sheltering them...or else.
Same goes for this whole God/Satan battle....Should God gladly accept the challenge by His ambitious student in front of the whole class..and smack him down in front of everyone..for all to see. Or threaten to kill him for even wanting a shot at His title?
Wouldn't it be boring without challengers to debate and conquer? Or do you threaten them with death to stop everyone from daring to come get some?
I am just not understanding this at all...

If they are wrong and misleading people about their creator...what is the difference between the two of them?
Could we then justifiably define them as kamaikazes at that point?

What IS the big disagreement niether side will back down about? Is there any way it could be resolved?

Where exactly is Satan?

since leaving the jw's most of us have also left most of their doctrine.

so that being the case, most of us have left the wt understanding of 1914. now you know that the wt claims that satan was hurled out of heaven in that year down to the vicinity of the earth.

so the question is: if 1914 is just another year to us, then what are your thoughts as to the whereabouts of satan and his followers?.

Waiting for a little help to preform the coup le degrace, on the JW's and all the other guesses known as "religions" by those who sell and follow them as "truth:".
When the help arrives...their "world" will be coming to an abrupt "end".
Satan has a really big mouth..and is totally against the withholding of information for power and control over others.
If God is against the sharing of information...the two will continue to collide.
Was Jesus against the sharing of information?
Perhaps Jesus and Satan could find a middle ground and work together for the good of all mankind?
Could happen you know....

consider the scene: jesus has just been baptized and immediately leaves for an extended stay in the wilderness all on his lonesome.

now ... already this is something the governing body would discourage any jw from doing, but i digress.. along comes satan.

jesus knows it is satan, because of how satany he is.

If satan was a double agent or the leader of double agents...he would be the biggest threat to evil ever...because he could expose his subordinates tricks and tactics to everyone..rendering them useless.
Like the magician who exposed all the tricks a few years ago.
Let God hand them over to him so that they may taught not to blaspheme,,,,I want to watch.

Going door to door to recruit members doesn't work

when you look at all the hours they do going door to door world wide and then you look at how many hours preaching it takes to bring just 1 person to their organization, it's not efficient.. my mom goes to a baptist church now, and i was surprised to know that 500 go to that meeting on sundays and they don't go door to door to go get these people.. there might be 80 witnesses at my hall and going door to door doesn't make much of a difference.

maybe it's even counter productive since people don't like being pested at home..

Does a man actually giving away money need to advertise?
Do people with the answers that lead to eternal life need to go out and sell it to people?
That is all I am saying.

Is Faith a Virtue?

by definition faith is something we accept as true though is can not be proven.

i was thinking about the scripture defining faith at hebrews 11:1 "faith is the assured expectation of things hoped for.... ".

assured expectation = we are convinced something is true without proof.

Perhaps people who take advantage of others and mislead others have faith they will not be held accountable for these things...they are forgiven?
Is that what they believe..are they right?

I know...kind of amazing what we can learn from 3 year olds isn't it?
They are less resticted by brainwashing and indoctrination than we are...and speak their thought without fear of repercussions to restain them..unlike many of us. (myself included)
They may hold many answers to our problems.
